Passage: Isaiah 9:1-7

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And his name shall be called, Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6
Jesus the Son did not switch places with God the Father. But Jesus' character, his nature is that of Everlasting Father.
Jesus is the perfect Father.
Jesus is the perfect Father. Jesus has boundless compassion.
“When Jesus saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.” Matthew 9:36.
Imperfect dads can also be demanding.
Jesus doesn’t love you because you perform, He loves you because He performed for you.
Isaiah prophesied that Jesus is the EVERLASTING Father.
“Whoever comes to me I will never cast out.” John 6:37
Imperfect dads die; Jesus is our EVERLASTING Father.
