Passage: 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
”Love is patient and kind.” 1 Corinthians 13:4a
“(Love) does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful.” 1 Corinthians 13:5
“(Love) does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. 1 Corinthians 13:6
LOVE is first something that has saved you.
”Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” 1 Corinthians 13:7
“God is love.” 1 John 4:8b
“In this, the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent His only Son into the world, so that we might live through Him.” 1 John 4:9
“In this is love, not that we have loved God but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.” 1 John 4:10
We are called to share God’s love.
”Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and His love is perfected in us.” 1 John 4:11-12
”But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Jesus, Acts 1:8
God is love….He is like a Crockpot, eraser and scale.
