Passage: Proverbs 11:24-25
“To give prudence to the naive, To the youth knowledge and discretion, A wise person will hear and increase in learning, and a person of understanding will acquire wise counsel.” Proverbs 1:4,5
“The Lord abhors dishonest scales.” Proverbs 11:1
“A trustworthy man keeps a secret.” Proverbs 11:13
“Like a gold ring in a pig’s snout is a beautiful woman with no discretion.” Proverbs 11:22
Together we will develop GENEROUS disciples.
“Generosity is, at its core, a lifestyle – a lifestyle in which we share all that we have, are, or will ever become, as a demonstration of God’s love and a response to God’s grace…. Generosity flows from an understanding that all we have, are, or will ever become, is not ours to possess… (its) what we’ve been given for the advancement of the kingdom and the glory of God!”
Our Generosity begins with God’s generosity to us in Christ!
Generosity is a lifestyle. It is who you are! It’s how you live!
“There is one who scatters, and yet increases all the more, And there is one who withholds what is justly due, and yet it results only in poverty. A generous person will be prosperous, And one who gives others plenty of water will himself be given plenty.” Proverbs 11:24,25
A generous person scatters.
“Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.” 2 Corinthians 9:6
A generous person gives to those who can’t give back.
“He who despises his neighbor sins, but blessed is he who is generous to the poor.” Proverbs 14:21
