Encounters with the Risen Jesus: Stephen

Stephen “full of the Spirit and wisdom” Acts 6:3

“Now Stephen, a man full of God’s grace and power, did great wonders and miraculous signs.” Acts 6:8

“Was there ever a prophet your fathers did not persecute?” Acts 7:52

“They even killed those who predicted the coming of the Righteous One (Jesus). And now you have betrayed and murdered Him.” Acts 7:52

How have you suffered for the cause of Christ?
How have you suffered?

When they (the religious leaders) heard this, they were furious and gnashed their teeth at him…. Acts 7:54

What do you do when you face suffering?
What do you do when you face opposition or conflict?

1. Look in.
2. Look away.
3. Look out.
4. Look up! Look up and see the Risen Christ!

Jesus is with you.
Jesus is ready to receive your spirit in heaven.
Look up and see Jesus!
