Passage: The Acts of the Apostles Acts 10:1-48
“Peter saw heaven opened and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners. It contained all kinds of four-footed animals as well as reptiles of the earth and birds of the air.” Acts 10:11-12
“Get up, Peter! Kill and eat!” Acts 10:13
When you encounter the Risen Jesus, God changes you. God changes your heart, your mind and actions and conforms it to His.
The key that unlocks the vision, is the word ALL.
“God does not show favoritism . . . but accepts men from all nations who fear him and do what is right.” Acts 10:34
The good news of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all.” Acts 10:36
“How Jesus went around doing good and healing all.” Acts 10:38
“All who believe in Jesus receive forgiveness of sins through his name.” Acts 10:43
The Gospel of Jesus is for ALL.
- The Gospel of Jesus is for YOU!
- The Gospel of Jesus is for those close to you.
- The Gospel of Jesus is for those who are different than you.
The ultimate goal is not diversity - the goal is the proclamation of the Gospel to all cultures and to make disciples of all people.
Look for opportunities to share your hope in Jesus.
“Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.” 1 Peter 3:15
