Passage: Luke 24:1-12
What do you need to remember to do for Easter?
I remember and remind others that Jesus has risen
from the dead!
But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they went to the tomb, taking the spices they had prepared. Luke 24:1
And as they were frightened and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead?” Luke 24:5
We want more than just death.
We know that we are not made for death; we know how it crept into our destiny as an intruder; and we know who has defeated it.” - C.S. Lewis
He is not here, but has risen. Remember how he told you, while he was still in Galilee, that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified and on the third day rise.” And they remembered his words. Luke 24:6-8
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.” Romans 1:16-17
The Gospel is the power of God!
“It is for ME but it is also FOR YOU!”
And they (the women) remembered his words, and returning from the tomb they told all these things to the eleven and to all the rest. Luke 24:8-9
What do you need to remember to do for Easter?
I remember and remind others that Jesus has risen
from the dead!
