NEW Bible Classes

Sunday Adult Bible Classes

Beginning Sunday, SEPTEMBER 23, BETWEEN SERVICES at 9:30 am

Our brand-new Bible classes at WG are designed to inspire and connect! We dive into Scripture not just for knowledge, but because it leads us closer to Jesus. Every class is about growing deeper in God’s Word—and growing together in community. Whether you’re new or looking for a place to reconnect, there’s a class for you. Make a meaningful Sunday habit this fall. See the full Sunday class lineup below and find your fit. Let’s start the year strong—together!

Sunday Bible Class Location:

  • “Ecclesiastes—The End of Meaning, the Beginning of Hope” 8/23 to 9/6  – Leader: Pastor Jason Broge (Place: Friendship Hall)
As we wrap up the study of the Old Testament book of Ecclesiastes, we dive into questions about meaning and hope. Meaning is not something we can create, control, or master for ourselves. Hope comes from what is received from God rather than mastered by us.
  • “Webster Gardens and The Early Church” 8/23 to 9/27  – Leader: Glenn Sprich (Place: Board Room)
Acts 2 describes the first Christians and, through the Holy Spirit, how they grew the early church. Their standards and practices are a model for our congregation today. We’ll compare the challenges and opportunities the Early Church faced with those we face today at Webster Gardens. Join us for a lively and interesting discussion.
  • “Sermon on the Mount” 8/23 – Leader: Eric Jacobs (Place: Music Room)
What does it mean to be a follower of Jesus? He gave us great insight in one of his most famous teachings. Come join us as we dive into this carefully designed vision for God’s Kingdom here on earth.
  • Adventures In Parenting! 8/23 – Leader: Pastor King and various parent leaders (Place: Classroom C)
What does it take for a congregation to help young people grow in a lasting connection to Jesus and His church? This Bible class series will adapt the Seven Practices of Healthy Youth Ministry—a guide which was developed by our church body recently--not simply as a list of things a church should be doing, but as a deeper look at how a congregation can faithfully walk alongside young people and their families. Together, we’ll consider how the whole congregation takes responsibility for passing on the faith, how relationships shape discipleship, and how we can create an environment where students and families know they belong and are being equipped to follow Christ! Kids can be served at Sunday Kids, Salt & Light, or the Nursery (See below).
  • Sunday Kids (Ages Birth through Middle School): SEE CLASS LIST HERE
  • High School "Salt & Light": In the Youth and Community Center
