1. What is the Youth Gathering and why should my child attend?
The Youth Gathering is a conference put on by the LCMS every 3 years in different cities around the US. High School students from around the world gather to worship, hear keynote speakers, attend breakout sessions, and gather for fun and fellowship while growing in their faith in Jesus Christ.
Webster Gardens has a history of going to the Youth Gathering and we are excited to start planning it again for 2025. This trip builds relationships between students and their peers, adult leaders, and other students around the world. It gives them a chance to explore all different kinds of topics and what God has to say about who we are as children of God and how we live our lives. It’s an impactful trip that will grow their faith and give them memories for a lifetime.
2. How old can I be to attend the Youth Gathering?
You may be either 14 years old or entering your freshman year of high school all the way through just having graduated high school.
3. When is the next Youth Gathering?
The next Youth Gathering is July 19-23, 2025. We will leave St. Louis on the 18th and return on the 24th.
4. Where is the next Youth Gathering?
New Orleans, Louisiana
5. How much does the Youth Gathering trip cost?
The rough estimate of the trip is $1,100 per student. This includes gathering registration fee, hotel, food, and travel.
