Ash Wednesday
Jesus changes everything.
Wednesday, March 5, 4:00 and 7:00pm
We will gather together in worship on what we call Ash Wednesday. It is the beginning of the Lenten season, in which we remember our frailty, the brokenness in the world, and the brokenness in ourselves. During this season, we will spend time in reflection, in confession, and in remembrance of Jesus' journey to Jerusalem as he inaugurates the Kingdom of God, and we remember what it means to be his people. Because over the next 7 weeks, we will see how Jesus changes everything.
Opportunity for worship and imposition of ashes:
- 8:30am CCLS Chapel for Imposition of Ashes (no communion)
- 4:00 pm Worship service will include the Imposition of Ashes, and Holy Communion
- 7:00 pm. Worship service will include the Imposition of Ashes, Holy Communion, and live streamed on webstergardens.org.
