Seniors Connect

National Day of Prayer and Intersect Arts Center

Thursday, May 1 at 10:00 am, Friendship Hall

Please join Seniors Connect for a presentation by representatives from Intersect Arts Center. A creative community dedicated to serving a diverse population, Intersect was founded by Holy Cross Lutheran Church in South St. Louis City to engage with those who have had little or no connection with a church. Many of those people also suffer in the grips of poverty. Holy Cross and Intersect continue to invest time and resources through the arts to make the Gravois Park neighborhood a vibrant place to create, grow and thrive. Intersect has a robust children's ministry and can use donations of new and used art supplies, especially paint, drawing materials, fabrics, papers, etc. If you have any of these items you'd like to donate, please bring them to the meeting along with your buckets/items for the LERT Flood Bucket drive. (see items needed below) Come and enjoy a light breakfast, fellowship, games and more.

If you need a ride, please call Kathryn Gritts at 314-605-9623. And don't forget to invite a friend.

LERT Flood Bucket Drive's "bucket list" of needed items includes Paper towels, disposable rags, glass cleaner, powdered cleaner, liquid cleaner, sponge(s), a scrub brush, a gallon bottle of bleach, and two (2) pairs of rubber gloves. A broom or mop is optional.
