Seniors Connect in Friendship Hall

After recessing for the summer months, it’s time to get together and ReConnect with each other. Join us for our fall kick-off Seniors Connect meeting on Thursday, September 1. We’ll begin with coffee (serving lunch, so no pastries this month) and fellowship at 10am in Friendship Hall. Then we will hear from some of our members who are “in the trenches” with Afghan families who left their home country with nothing in search of freedom from oppression and a better life here. Learn about some of the challenges facing those families and learn what it takes to help them get settled here in our community. You won’t want to miss it! We’ll also be serving lunch for this kick-off meeting, so please be sure to RSVP to help us plan. Mark your calendars now.
