Worship Ministry Team
The purpose of our Worship Ministry Team is to create and implement all activities within corporate worship settings. This team oversees the functions of all musicians, musical groups, performance groups, visual arts, ushers, Altar Guild, and all technologies within the worship center.
There are multiple ways for individuals to get involved with our worship teams:
- Altar Guild: Altar Guild volunteers prepare the bread and the wine for communion and maintain the items used on the altar for worship services. Altar Guild executes much of its prep work on Saturdays and helps with communion on Sunday mornings. The time commitment is typically one weekend per month for 3-5 hours.
- Music: We welcome vocalists and instrumentalists to share their gifts in worship in a variety of ways through regular worship ministry groups such as Adult Choir, Praise Band, and Brass Band. We also have additional opportunities during the year for special services as needed.
- Technology: Our technology team works with our lighting program, presentation software, sound operations, and
livestreamcamera operators to help worshipers engage in worship services. Volunteers typically serve at both services one Sunday per month.
- Ushers: Ushers are the friendly, servant-hearted men and women who assist with bulletin distribution, offering collection, and similar tasks before and during worship services. They also may be called upon to help people, especially newcomers, find a place to sit for worship. Ushers typically serve once a month and for special services.
