Director of Operations
I serve the congregation by providing leadership and direction in the areas of finance, personnel, information technology, facilities, and organizational and programmatic efforts in cooperation with the staff, Board of Directors, and ministry leadership teams. After six years serving as Treasurer with the church Board of Directors, I felt called by God to share my gifts professionally with the church. While my position requires me to get involved daily in a very diverse mix of areas, I am most passionate about helping ministry leaders and congregation members use the tools available through our church management system, myWebsterGardens, not for the sake of being great at using technology, but to aid connections amongst people and simplify ministry process work so that leaders and team members can focus on relationships and discipling people. Webster Gardens is the most welcoming church I have ever experienced, and I appreciate that we are consistently focused on sharing Jesus’ love through relationships. It doesn’t matter if you’re a new guest, a long-time member, or an individual in our community with needs, Webster Gardens wants to get to know and help support you in whatever way we can! My professional experience includes 14 years in corporate finance, sales, and operations roles with both Pepsi and Energizer. While taking parental leave to focus on my family and children, I have volunteered extensively over the last 13 years, providing leadership, financial, information technology, and consulting services to a wide variety of non-profit community organizations. My passion is to identify ways to make meaningful and enduring impacts that help organizations fulfill their mission and vision. I earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis, and have a Master of Business Administration from Saint Louis University.
I have been married to my wonderful husband, Eric Jacobs, for 24 years, and we met when we interviewed for the same position with Pepsi at the end of our undergraduate studies. We were fortunate the company decided to create a second position at the last minute and hired both of us. We first met at Pepsi and the rest is history. God blessed us with two amazing children - Drew, who is an engineering student at Missouri University of Science & Technology, and Kristen, who is a Senior at Lindbergh High School. Both of our children enjoy sharing their musical gifts in worship, with Kristen playing drums regularly, and Drew improvising on his trombone during visits home from college. I most enjoy spending time with my family, whether supporting band or swimming events, traveling to the beach or snow-filled ski slopes, watching movies, going on extended family golf outings, or playing with our two whippets, Dash and Violet.
